Guest Speaker: Ammar Alshukry Halaqa

As part of this year's Charity Week, a week designated by Islamic Relief where Muslim Student Associations across the nation compete to raise the most amount of money for charity, the MSA at Pitt will be hosting a halaqa with Ammar Alshukry as a guest speaker!

He is a renowned Imam, author, and poet from New York. His most recent literary work is "What the Pen Wrote: The Collected Poems of Ammar AlShukry." He is also the director of Al Maghrib Islamic Institute, where he teaches Islamic courses regarding development, principles, and history.

Although they are not required, we are recommending that everyone who can donates. All donations from this event, and all events this week, will be donated directly to IRUSA. Donations can be given through the link under the important links tab on our website msaatpitt.com.
