Prof. John Cerone will present a lecture addressing the work of the ICC and how it relates to the current conflicts in Palestine, Syria & Ukraine. As a practicing international lawyer, Professor Cerone has worked for a number of different intergovernmental and nongovernmental organizations, including the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the International Secretariat of Amnesty International, and the International Crisis Group, and has served as a legal adviser to various international criminal courts and tribunals. |

Islamic Art Exhibit Opening at Les Idees Gallery The Christian-Muslim Dialogue Committee (CMDC) is sponsoring an exhibition of Islamic art featuring Pittsburgh-based artists in the Les Idees Gallery on the third floor of the Union. The exhibit, which will run from Thursday, Sept. 4, through Tuesday, Sept. 30, supports the CMDC’s mission to provide a platform for multiple perspectives between Christians and Muslims, and to promote healthy and peaceful relationships. |
