The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Iraq and Georgetown University announce the upcoming launch of a new website showcasing Access to Durable Solutions Among IDPs in Iraq, a joint panel study tracking the same IDP households over five years to assess their access to durable solutions according to the IASC Framework.

The website will present context for the study, a detailed explanation of the research methodology and key findings from five rounds of data collection. A never-before-released dataset will be made available upon the launch, as well as a library of all the study’s publications. The website will also provide background material on durable solutions and explain the relevance of the study to the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

Join us for an online event on Tuesday, June 29th to provide background information on the study and delve into the website’s various offerings. Additionally, field teams and staff from IOM and Georgetown who have been involved with the study from its outset will provide an inside look into the methodology and efforts that made it all possible.

Featuring CCAS faculty member, Professor Rochelle Davis, a Senior Researcher on this project and with Georgetown's Institute for International Migration (ISIM). Professor Davis is an Associate Professor of Anthropology and the Sultanate of Oman Chair.
