IUP Islamic Awareness Day

The Muslim Student Association (MSA) of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) invites you to attend the Fourth Islamic Awareness Day on Thursday, March 31, 2016 starting at 5:15 PM. This is a public event and all are welcome to attend.

The main program will be held at Eberly Auditorium in the Eberly School of Business at IUP. The theme of this year’s event is “Islam As a Way of Life”. It is our pleasure to announce that Sheikh Yusuf Estes will be the keynote speaker. Sheikh Estes is an internationally renowned, Muslim-American preacher who has worked as a U.S. Federal chaplain and served as a delegate to the United Nations Peace Summit for Religious Leaders.

In addition to Sheikh Estes' address, the main program will open with a Quran Recitation and an introduction by the president of the IUP MSA. Outside the auditorium there will be a Hijab booth and other activities running parallel to the main program. Towards the end of the event, pizza and refreshment will be provided to all attendees.
