Join the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh for a special luncheon discussion focused on the future of U.S. - Iran relations in the wake of the Iran Nuclear Agreement. Will the nuclear agreement improve diplomatic relations between the United States and Iran? What does sanctions relief for Iran mean for the future of U.S. - Iran relations? How is Iran's role in the Middle East changing, and are there ways in which Iran and the United States can work together more effectively to address conflict in the region?

Alireza Nader is a senior international policy analyst at the RAND Corporation, and author of The Days After a Deal with Iran: Continuity and Change in Iranian Foreign Policy. His research has focused on Iran's political dynamics, elite decision making, and Iranian foreign policy. His commentaries and articles have appeared in a variety of publications, and he is widely cited by the U.S. and international media. Prior to joining RAND, Nader served as a research analyst at the Center for Naval Analyses. He is a native speaker of Farsi. Nader received his M.A. in international affairs from The George Washington University.
